I know, I know… I’m starting to repeat myself. But just in case you somehow still haven’t noticed: Confitura is built for the community and by the community. And right now, as we’re revealing the agenda slot by slot, you can already tell one thing: 2026 is going to be ridiculously good. Also, yes, after what felt like an epic quest involving forms, systems, and probably a few grey hairs, tickets are finally officially on sale.

Krzysiek definitely deserves a badge for surviving this one.

But beyond the agenda and tickets, there’s something else I’ve been thinking about recently. There was a time when Confitura was the place for me to meet new people. Then, over the years, it became the best way to reconnect with all those fantastic humans I’d met along the way. And now? Well… life happened. We all moved forward a bit. We grew up (allegedly). We got homes, families, responsibilities, and - brace yourself - serious hobbies. Suddenly, meeting “those software people from conferences” isn’t always at the very top of the priority list anymore. And that made me think. There are people I haven’t seen in years. And I genuinely wonder: What are they up to? Are they doing well? Did they finally rewrite everything… again? Sure, we have the internet. Social media. Endless scrolling. But let’s be honest - those updates? They’re never the full picture. Not even close. So I asked myself: can we somehow bring that back? And yes, I’m repeating myself again: but a lot of good things in my life happened because I met the right people at the right time. So… what if we give luck a little push? Here’s the idea:

If you both decide to join us, I’ll give you both a - 10% discount on Confitura 2026 tickets. Best case? You reconnect. You catch up. You laugh. You learn something new. And who knows - maybe it turns into:

Worst case? You have a good conversation with a human you once liked. Not bad, right? If this works, a lot of people might be surprised by the outcome. And me? I’ll be absolutely amazed.
