It’s a tradition that Confitura, since its inception, has been a place where pivotal figures shared groundbreaking ideas from the stage. Throughout all these years, we’ve been lucky to host THE names that have changed the industry, software development, and the community itself.
But why do we always have the best speakers?
Well, the fantastic selection of talk submissions is only part of the success. The secret ingredient is the power of the community.
We don’t have a programme committee, advisors, or the urge to select talks on our own. Instead, we delegate this task to the people who vote on what they want to see at the upcoming event.
That’s actually quite convenient from our side, because we don’t have to spend too much effort creating the agenda, nor do we have to predict what people are going to like and want to watch. The community does the selection itself.
Brilliant idea, if you ask me. And I’m saying that because it has worked for at least the last 10 years of organizing Confitura.
And with that slightly-too-long introduction, let’s get to the point:
